Drin Social Beads

The Drin have an unusual currency system, centered around 'social beads.' Outsiders typically are befuddled by the process of obtaining and spending social beads, so they're rarely found outside of Eovis and other royal holdings. Since the Crown makes most of its money by selling Drin inventions to outsiders, they largely control the influx of cash coming into Drin territory. These foreign currencies are converted to the aforementioned social beads, which are proportioned out to citizens as compensation for their sold goods (in theory...). From there, they can be exchanged for goods and services, through a complex series of trades involving size, shape, and color of the beads. Most Drin think they're stupid.
